Nelly Becerra is one of the pioneers of the sport of triathlon in Mexico, as she has been training and competing for over 20 years.
Nelly holds the record in Mexico of her age group in Ironman distance, 10hrs 04 min (Ironman Florida 2001), and she qualified 6 times to the World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. She has been a triathlon champion for consecutive years in her age-group in Olympic and Sprint Triathlon distances as well.
Nelly Becerra is a member of the Executive Committee of the Mexican Triathlon Federation since 1999 and she is currently Secretary-General of that institution. Her devotion to the world of sports in general, she has received several awards and honors in Mexico for her support and promotion to Women's Sports.
Since 2005 Nelly has been dedicating her time to coaching Triathlon, Running and Swimming, and now she is joining RW Training and Coach Rich Wygand to continue encouraging both men and women to practice sports in a healthy, happy and safe way.
